Autism
Having a brain which is neurodiverse can be tough and tiring in a world that is not always adjusted for this. Whether you have a diagnosis, are waiting for a diagnosis or just know that your brain is “wired differently”, I can help.
I provide specialised online counselling and support for autism. Counselling is a form of talking therapy and provides you with the chance to talk about the aspects of your life which you find difficult. Support is a more practical approach, helping you develop coping strategies.
Individuals living with autism
You may feel overwhelmed and anxious, trying to sort things out but you’re not sure where to start. If you’re at school, college or university, you may be worried about falling behind.

I can help by supporting you to make sense of your own experience of being autistic, looking at the particular way in which autism affects you and the impact it has.

Together we can identify things that you find particularly difficult, and we can develop a range of coping strategies and techniques to manage these challenges and help make life easier for you.
I can also help if someone in your family has autism and you would like to understand more about the condition to improve your relationships.
I work with parents to help them understand and support family members who may be struggling with the challenges of being autistic.

I also work with parents who may be waiting for a referral or diagnosis for their child and who want to talk about their own concerns.
